The Viennese Cuisine is the only cuisine in the world named after a city - it is known all over the world for pleasing the palate. It is difficult to leave Vienna without tasting a "Tafelspitz" (boiled tender beef in a broth), a "Wiener Schnitzel" or a "Schweinsbraten" (roast pork with lots of garlic). And as a dessert you have to try the various pastries, such as the famous "Apfelstrudel" or the famous chocolate-coated "Sacher Torte".

Viennese Coffee houses are an integral part of everyday life and part of the cultural heritage: they are the place for contemplation, retreat with the daily newspaper, or just for a chat with friends or informal scientific discussions.

Important politics, science and art originated from discussions in Viennese coffee houses - as a visitor, one has to indulge into this mirror and heritage of Viennese life. Finally, Vienna's nightlife certainly does not stop after the opera, the theatre or the concert in the Musikverein. It continues in bars, discos, pubs, jazz clubs, stand-up comedian clubs as long as the physical endurance of visitors lasts.
